Hello and welcome to my newly refreshed and launched site here...long overdue, and certainly ready to be enhanced while evolving. I'm sure the reader must be interested in the 'art-world', and will share my relevant fascinations also!
My own interests in 'the arts', range from a lifetime of 'doodling' and Poetry reading/writing...only touching the lightest hint of my awareness of Artwork in this phase of life. Great enjoyment in the practice of artwork, doesn't necessarily produce 'great-art'; however sometimes, that 'practice' is reward enough! I confess that my addiction to my own 'doodling' tended to feel like some form of distraction to my formal education - who can say if that stunted my education, or otherwise enhanced it?!
My ultimate employment was as a DSA ADI, employed in my area of Scotland (Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor), a serious qualification, of course, and more enjoyable than may be expected. An important and wonderful art: meeting a plethora of eager and determined people, of all ages and standards. Delightfully satisfying and enriching experience; where I learned, while instructing: 'Safe driving for life' - happy memories indeed!
I'm now free to utilize the richness of the 'free-time' I'm blessed with. From having been fully occupied as an 'ADI' (as we named ourselves) to being a retired person who is equally determined to 'engross' himself in our Art-world - happy times await our efforts ~ so here we go!
